Our second solo-edit "Diana rests" recuperates this iconic image, so deeply embedded in our collective memory. The photograph captures 20-year-old Diana in 1981, a newly-wed princess attending the “Splendours of the Gonzaga” exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum, slumping into her own shoulder as she dozed off during the event.
"Today, when the media resurrects this moment, she is often christened 'Sleeping Beauty'. Today, we know that she had been so busy being watched that she deserved her rest."
