Carlota Guerrero (b. 1989), a Barcelona-based artist and photographer, navigates a sidereal trajectory questioning the effects of the omnipresent male gaze. Her work, rooted in the spirit of the times, seeks to explore and realize the female perspective. Addressing the absence of female symbols in positions of power, Guerrero generates a new feminist symbology, filling the imagination gap. Between performative experiences and photography, her creations transcend ordinary photographic works, documenting encounters among women.
